PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for emergency notification processing by FAX which send emergency notice previously displayed in a dedicated FAX form to an emergency notification center by a FAX transmitter and receives and decodes the emergency information by a FAX receiver to automatically perform specific notice reception processing. SOLUTION: This system comprises the FAX transmitter 1 having a notice input means 11 for inputting the emergency notice information by using the FAX form, a FAX communication control means 13, and a notice guide means 12, the dedicated FAX form 2 and the FAX receiver 3 having a FAX communication control means 31, a receive data storage means 32, a FAX data demodulating means 33, a FAX data decoding means 34 for conversion into the notice data, a data storage means 35, and a notice processing means 36 for printing out the FAX data and performing the reception processing for the emergency notice according to the notice data.
