PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an automatic vending machine which prevents heated articles from changing in quality by preventing settings from being switched to cold settings when the heated articles is stored in a vending zone. SOLUTION: When it is judged that the current date and time are a set day and set time or switching is set, an article moving mechanism 11 is stopped from moving the articles from a storage zone 7 to the vending zone 8. When it is judged that there is no article left in the vending zone 8, the vending zone 8 is switched from the hot state to the cold state.
