PURPOSE: An automatic door sensor module and an opening and closing method for an automatic door using the same are provided to prevent malfunction caused by infrared rays contained in external light. CONSTITUTION: An automatic door sensor module(130) comprises a power supply unit(PWP), an infrared radiation unit(131), an infrared sensor(132), a visible ray sensor(133), an ultraviolet sensor(134), and a controller(135). The infrared radiation unit radiates infrared rays. The infrared sensor receives the reflective signal of the radiated infrared rays. The ultraviolet sensor senses ultraviolet rays. When the controller does not receive the reflective signal, the controller closes the automatic door. When visible rays are detected from the received reflective signal, the controller closes an automatic door.
