PURPOSE: Manufacture of an organic metal compound provides the organic metal compound with a high purity and a high overall yield without using a reactive metal. CONSTITUTION: Refinement of an organic metal compound provides an evaporator including a first distillation column(15) and a second distillation column(35) each having an upper part and a lower part. The organic metal compound to be refined is provided to the first distillation column. Sufficient conditions are provided to remove impurities from the first distillation column, wherein the impurities are relatively more volatile than the organic metal compound in the first distillation column. The organic metal compound is transferred from the lower part of the first distillation column to the second distillation column. Sufficient conditions for the organic metal compound in the second distillation column are provided to obtain the organic metal compound refined from the upper part of the second distillation column. Here, the first distillation column has a plurality of theoretical stripping stages sufficient for removing the impurities that are relatively more volatile from the organic metal compound. The second distillation column has a plurality of theoretical direct flow stages sufficient for obtaining the refined organic metal compound. The refined organic metal compound has a purity of≥95%.
