PURPOSE: A seat slide mechanism is provided to reduce the resistance of the motion of an upper rail when the upper side rail is unlocked in the lower side rail, and to prevent the clattering of an upper side rail corresponding to the lower side rail when the upper side rail is locked in the lower side rail. CONSTITUTION: A seat slide mechanism includes a lower rail(1), an upper side rail(2), a lock unit, a lock component(18), a moving element(29), and an interlocking tool. The lower rail is fixed on the bottom surface. The upper side rail fixed on a sheet is supported to be operated corresponding to the lower rail. The lock unit is formed on the lower rail, and arranged in the movement direction of the upper side rail. The lock component is attached to the upper side rail. The moving element is installed on the upper side rail. The moving element is selectively separated or accessed corresponding to the guide part of the lower rail. The interlocking tool delivers the motion of the lock component as the motion of the moving element. |
