PURPOSE: A display device and a 3D display method are provided to alternatively open a left eye glass and a right eye glass of a pair of 3D glasses within one vertical synchronization interval and additionally open the left eye glass and the right eye glass, thereby reducing disturbance for a 3D image. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(110) alternatively outputs a left eye image and a right eye image in a predetermined interval. A driving signal output unit(120) outputs a driving signal which alternatively opens the left eye glass and the right eye glass of a pair of 3D glasses in one vertical synchronization interval. A control unit(130) additionally opens the left eye glass the right eye glass by control of the driving signal output unit.
