ADHERENT SPACER FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY BOARD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new adherent spacer for liquid crystal display board and a method for manufacturing the spacer, by which high coating efficiency of a thermoplastic resin onto the surface of the raw particle being the particle main body can be realized and excellent maintainabily of the adhesion strength between the particle body surface and the thermoplastic resin after coating can be obtained. SOLUTION: In the adherent spacer for a liquid crystal display board manufactured by coating at least a part of the surface of the particle body with an adhesive layer made of a thermoplastic resin, the particle body has a hydrolysable silyl group and/or siloxane skeleton and the thermoplastic resin has oxazoline groups.
