PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for imparting superior light resistance and UV absorbing power to a plastic lens obtained by polymerizing and curing a composition based on a compound having one or more episulfide groups in one molecule. SOLUTION: A specified amount of a specified UV absorbent is added to a composition based on a compound having one or more episulfide groups in one molecule. After mixing, the composition is polymerized and cured to manufacture the objective plastic lens excellent in light resistance and UV absorbing power.
