PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reverse assembling of an inversion handle. SOLUTION: For a switching device equipped with a body, a contact point terminal having a fixed contact point and housed in the body, a common terminal having a supporting piece and housed in the body, an open-close element having a movable contact point, the inversion handle 14 having a protrusion 14a for swinging in an outer face of both sides, a coil spring installed between this inversion handle 14 and the open-close element, a cover formed in a frame state and having a groove in an inner face of the both sides wherein both protrusions 14a of the inversion handle 14 are housed in swinging free, and an operation handle mounted on the inversion handle 14 whose one part protrudes from this cover, the inversion handle 14 is formed in a box state wherein the inversion handle 14 can be assembled in a frame state cover, and one side of a pair of protrusions of the inversion handle 14 is made to be protruded longer than that of the other side.
