PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacture method of a flat type insulated electric wire, in which a conductor surface is not exposed by forming a uniform film crossing all over the surface including an angle part after baking, without making a large change to the manufacturing method of the flat type insulated electric wire, in which, according to a usual method, an insulated paint is applied in a perimeter of a flat type conductor two or more times. SOLUTION: The flat type insulated electric wire is manufactured using a rolling process F1; in which a round conductor having a round shape cross-section is rolled into flat type conductor, a wire drawing processing process F2; having a corner part rounding work, in which the above flat type conductor is processed in wire drawing to form to the flat type conductor having R shape corners (round corners), using a variant dice, which has a hole of an approximately rectangle shape having corners of predetermined R shape (round corner), and a paint applying and baking process F3; in which an insulating paint is applied two or more times and baked to the perimeter of the above flat type conductor having R shape corners (round corners), and then, the flat type insulated electric wire excellent in insulation is obtained.
