PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such magnetic head, in addition to that it has the inherent high-performance electromagnetic characteristics, the cross talk between the magnetic heads is reduced, it is not easily influenced of an external electric wave, and furthermore, the stable contact condition with a magnetic recording medium can be secured, in a multiple simultaneous recording system simultaneously operating multiple head, especially a plurality of magnetic head chips on one head base. SOLUTION: A distance between magnetic head gaps of two magnetic head chips, such distance between the cores that either one of two cores by which the two respective magnetic head chips are constructed, most adjoins to the location to wind the winding on an inside core adjacent other magnetic head chip, and a core thickness perpendicular to a gap surface at the location of the inside core to wind the winding are selected optimally. Furthermore, a turn ratio of winding wound around the two cores is optimally selected.
