PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the trouble in installation construction by facilitating supplying of electric power to a transmission device for information that a pavement block is provided with. SOLUTION: An information-providing system has a high-frequency power source 116, a high-frequency power transmission line 114 which is connected to the high-frequency power source and embedded along a pedestrian road, and a pavement block 108 equipped with an information transmission device 106. The information transmission device 106 receives induced electromotive force from the high-frequency power transmission line 114 and is driven and to transmit information is transmitted to a person on the pedestrian path.
