PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a spiral spring mechanism, and reduce a manufacturing cost by simplifying a structure of the spiral spring mechanism having a braking means, and also adopting a structure capable of reducing the number of part items. SOLUTION: A core 10 is connected to the inner end 11a of a spiral spring 11, and the outer end 11b of the spiral spring 11 is connected to an incense box 12. A braking plate 15 is arranged inside a braking case 14, and a fluid substance 16 is filled. A recess-projection joining part 10b is arranged on the lower end of the core 10, and this recess-projection joining part 10b engages with a recess-projection joining part 15b of the braking plate 15 arranged in the braking case 14.
