BATTERY THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DRIVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A battery temperature control system and a method of driving the same are provided to obtain desired battery output at low temperature region without external power supply. CONSTITUTION: A battery temperature control system comprises a battery part(200) which includes a heating pad(210), a wire(300) connected with the battery part, and a current drain part(400) which covers the conducting wire. The current drain part is electrically connected to the heat generation pad. A driving method of the battery system for controlling temperature comprises the following steps: forming magnetic force around wire current while charging and discharging the battery part; generating inducing current within the current drain part; and supplying the inducing current to heat generation pad.
