PURPOSE: A trash can is provided to prevent trash from being stacked on only one side in the inside of the trash can and to prevent the internal trash from hanging on a cover plate by foldably closing a trash through-hole at the top of the trash can. CONSTITUTION: A trash can is composed of a body(10), a cover part(20), a first rotary pin, a first cover plate(40), a second cover plate(50), an upper elastic spring(60), and an upper wire. The body has an upper opening at the top thereof. The cover covers the upper opening of the body. A trash through-hole where trash can passes through is formed in a part of the body. Both ends of the first rotary pin are pin-coupled to the inner side of the cover part. The first cover part covers the trash through-hole and one end thereof is pin-coupled to the first rotary pin in order to rotate on the pin-coupled spot. The second cover plate covers the trash through-hole, and one end thereof is pin-coupled to the other end of the first cover plate in order to rotate centered on the pin-coupled spot. The upper elastic spring surrounds the first rotary pin and provides elasticity to the pin-coupled spot where the first cover plate and the second cover plate are pin-coupled in clockwise and counterclockwise directions in order to maintain the first cover plate and the second cover plate in an unfolded state. The upper wire is connected to the first rotary pin and folds the spot where the first cover plate and the second cover plate are pin-coupled to open the waste through-hole. |
