MOTORCYCLE TIRE FOR RUNNING ON ROUGH TERRAIN

PURPOSE: A rough terrain driving tire for a motorcycle is provided to improve the traction performance of driving straight and the braking performance by forming an arc edge which is provided by the cut with an arc protruded from the edge toward the axis of a tire to the axis of both sides of a tire. CONSTITUTION: A rough terrain driving tire(1) for a motorcycle includes a block pattern. The block pattern comprises a plurality of blocks(11) installed on a tread part(2). The tread part comprises a center block(16) having the center of figure of the thread side(11v) in the center area. The center area covers 25% of the area of the tread development width with a center around the tire equator(C). The thread side comprises the axial direction edge extended straight in parallel with the axis of a tire. The tire with the axial direction edge is provided with the arc edge which is formed with a removing cut to the center of figure with a bulging arc. The length of the tire axis direction of the axial direction edge is 26-46% of the maximum width of the tire axis direction of the thread side of the center block.
