PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can be reduced in cost by curtailing the man-hours for printing of a display board. SOLUTION: This display device has a base member 1 consisting of a case body and the display board 2 arranged on the first side of this base member 1. The display board 2 has a substrate 26 consisting of a transparent material, the display section 21 forming prescribed information and a background section 22 forming the background of the display section 21. The display section 21 is provided with cut-out portions 27 where the background section 22 are partially removed to make the front surface of the base member 1 visible through the substrate 26.
