PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush valve operating device which lightens heavy operations of a push button of a flush valve and resists damage. SOLUTION: A recess 5, wherein the flush valve 4 is installed, is formed in a wall surface inside a private room for a flush toilet; a door plate 3, which is formed with a through hole 3a below, is provided in an opening of the recess 5; a control lever 2 on a backside of the door plate 3 is pivoted by a root part 2b of the control lever 2; and a pressing protrusion 2c for pressing the push button 4a of the flush valve 4 is provided protrusively in an intermediate part of the control lever 2. Additionally, a manual operation button 2a, which protrudes from a surface of the door plate 3 through the through hole 3a, is provided protrusively at an end of the control lever 2.
