PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing cleanser composition which has excellent sterilizing, cleansing and foaming properties, has high safety for human bodies, and scarcely gives a load to the environment. SOLUTION: This sterilizing cleanser composition is characterized by containing a cationic surfactant represented by general formula (1) [R<1> is a 1 to 4C alkyl; R<2> is a 1 to 4C alkyl or (R<5> -O)a -Y; R<3> is a 1 to 4C alkyl, benzyl, cyclohexyl or (R<5> -O)a -COR<6> ; R<4> is (R<5> -O)a -COR<7> ; Y is H or COR<8> ; R<5> is an alkylene; (a) is an integer of 1 to 5; R<6> to R<8> are each a hydrocarbon; X is an anionic atom or an anionic group] as a component (A); and an anionic surfactant or nonionic surfactant as a component (B).
