A roll of material (1, Fig. 1) comprises a sponge, foam, or gel and a substance that deodorises and/or emits a fragrance, wherein the material further comprises an adhesive side 1 to enable it to be attached to an object. The fragrant substance may include one or more perfumes, natural aromas or essential oils. Preferably, the adhesive side is protected with a backing sheet 2 prior to use. A sheet 3 may also be used to cover a non-adhesive side of the material so as to enclose the deodorant or fragrant substance before use. The material may be provided in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colours and may be cut to size, e.g. to form a strip of material. The material may be used to deodorise or scent an office work area with limited space.
