MULTIPLE BAND FILTER USING FREQUENCY SELECTIVE SURFACES

PURPOSE: A multi-band filter using frequency selective surfaces is provided to selectively pass or block multi-band frequencies about transmission signals by integrating multiple frequency selective surface cells having different resonant frequencies on a microstrip transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric substrate has a ground pattern in the rear side thereof. A microstrip transmission line(13) is formed on the top of the dielectric substrate and transmits transmission signals. Multiple frequency selective surface cells are inserted in the microstrip transmission line in a single body and pass or block the transmission signals of different specific frequencies.
