PURPOSE: A temperature control method for a heating furnace is provided to supply slab with uniform temperature distribution to a heating furnace by individually controlling control zones of the slab in a longitudinal direction of the slab. CONSTITUTION: A temperature control method for a heating furnace comprises the steps of: measuring the temperature distribution of the length of slab before entering a rolling mill(S10), calculating a longitudinal difference according to the temperature distribution(S20), calculating a temperature compensation value for compensating the longitudinal difference(S30), setting a heating condition for each control zone of a soaking zone according to the temperature compensation value(S40), calculating the actual compensation value of slab being heated according to the heating condition for each control zone(S50), and comparing the actual compensation value with the temperature compensation value and changing the heating condition for each control zone to obtain a heating condition for each control zone(S70). |
