PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic hollow fine particle holding a large amount of magnetic substances and a simple manufacturing method of the magnetic hollow fine particle. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the magnetic hollow fine particle comprises a step for forming a hollow fine particle including raw materials of magnetic substances in the hollow part by dispersing a mixture comprising (a) a crosslinkable monomer, or a crosslinkable monomer and a monofunctional monomer, (b) at least one raw material of magnetic substances selected from the group consisting of carbonyl complexes and alkoxides of iron, nickel and cobalt, and magnetic fluids, (c) a hardly water-soluble solvent which has low compatibility with a polymer or a copolymer to be obtained by polymerizing or copolymerizing the monomers and (d) an initiator, and suspension polymerizing the mixture, and, when the raw material of the magnetic substances is one selected from the group consisting of carbonyl complexes and alkoxides, further a step for subjecting the obtained hollow fine particle to a magnetization treatment.
