<p>PURPOSE: A mobile name card transmission method and a recording medium are provided to transmit conversion information to an opponent by converting a multimedia file and a personal information file into an extensible markup language file, thereby displaying information in the XML file on an opponent mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia file and personal information are combined and the combined information is encoded as an XML file(S20). The encoded XML file is stored in a mobile phone(S30). The selected XML file is read from the mobile phone(S60). The read XML file is transmitted to a communication company server with an opponent mobile phone number(S70). The communication company server transmits the XML file to an accessed opponent mobile phone(S90). The XML file is stored in an opponent mobile phone(S100). The XML file is displayed on a screen in the opponent mobile phone by decoding(S110).
