PURPOSE: A switching mode power supply comprising a slope compensation circuit is provided to maintain a fast response characteristic by compensating slopes according to a switching duty ratio. CONSTITUTION: A slope compensation circuit(200) includes a duty ratio detection unit and a slope control part. The duty ratio detection unit detects the switching duty ratio of a switching mode power supply apparatus. A slope control part performs a slope compensation based on the detected duty ratio. A duty ratio voltage generation part generates a duty ratio voltage changing according to the change of a duty ratio. The duty ratio current generating part generates a duty ratio current changing according to the voltage generated in the duty ratio voltage generation part.
