<p>PURPOSE: A vertical axis wind power generator that the angle of a blade is provided to secure rotary force for generating power with minimizing the resistance of wind pressure as a blade is vertically or horizontally varied by a protrusion. CONSTITUTION: A vertical axis wind power generator comprises a support frame(110) a disc(120), a cam member(130), a blade(140), and a generating unit(150). The support frame is vertically formed to the ground, and comprises a generation shaft(112) for providing rotary power for generating electricity, and a direction shaft(114) separately rotated from the generation shaft. The disc is connected to the generation shaft, and comprises a cylindrical frame, a plurality of variable shafts connected between the generation shaft and the cylindrical frame, and a protrusion(126) formed in the variable shaft. The cam member is connected to the direction shaft, and presses the protrusion in order to rotate the variable shaft. The blade is connected to the variable shaft, and the variable shaft is horizontally or vertically varied by the protrusion. The generating unit generates electricity by receiving the rotary power from the generation shaft.</p> |
