摘要 PURPOSE: A method for treating a surface of aluminum alloy for a plastic injection mold is provided to streamline processes by a degreasing method using strong acid aqueous solution instead of organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: A method for treating a surface of aluminum alloy for a plastic injection mold comprises followings. Foreign material and an oxide layer on the surface of aluminum alloy are removed using strong acid aqueous solution. The aluminum alloy dips in the oxalic acid electrolyte having the concentration of 50~70g/L. The aluminum alloy is treated with DC(Direct Current) with current density of 1.0~2.0A/dm^2 at a temperature of 20~30°C for 30-90 minutes, thereby forming aluminum oxide coating. The coated aluminum alloy is sealed.
