<p>PURPOSE: A hard coat film is provided to effectively prevent the scattering of broken pieces of a glass substrate by having a substrate layer, a hard coat layer, and an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION: A hard coat film(1) includes a transparent substrate layer(2), a hard coat layer(3), and an adhesive layer(4). The hard coat layer is laminated on one side of the substrate layer. The adhesive layer is laminated on the other side of the substrate layer. The retardation value(Ro) on the surface of the hard coat layer is less than 100nm, and the retardation value(Rth) toward the thickness direction is less than 200nm. The substrate layer uses a polycarbonate based resin, a cycloolefin copolymer, and an acrylic resin as a main component. The average thickness of the substrate layer is greater than 10 micrometers and less than 500 micrometers. The haze value of the hard coat film is less than 2%, and the visible light transmission rate is greater than 87%.</p> |
