PURPOSE: A cylinder type locking device is provided to confirm the existence of an opened/closed state by using an opening/closing indicating unit with the unaided eye and to improve the visibility of the opened/closed state. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder type locking device comprises a body(110), a rotator(120), an opening/closing operation unit(140), and an opening/closing indicating unit. The body is fixed to a panel. The rotator is arranged inside the body and allowed to. A key insertion groove is formed on the front surface of the rotator and a latch cylinder is formed in the rear end part of the rotator. The opening/closing operation unit is provided in the rotator and selectively in contact with the body by a key inserted through the key insertion groove, thereby controlling the rotation of the rotator. The opening/closing indicating unit enables to distinguish an opened/closed state caused by the rotation of the rotator with the unaided eye.
