PURPOSE: An image formation apparatus and operating method thereof are provided to reduce printing faulty rates by stably operating an image formation apparatus in a low temperature environment. CONSTITUTION: An environment recognition unit detects an operating environment(S10). When the operating environment is a low temperature environment, a control unit controls an operating motor in a high load operating condition which generates a high torque(S20,S30). The control unit reduces a driving load of an image formation unit by controlling an operating process. The control unit operates the operating motor in a normal warm up operating condition(S40).
