IMAGE FILTERING APPARATUS AND METHOD BASED ON NOISE PREDICTION USING INFRARED RAY INTENSITY

PURPOSE: A device for filtering an image based on noise prediction by using IR(Infrared Ray) intensity and a method thereof are provided to predict a noise of a depth image through a noise prediction model by generating the noise prediction model based on the IR intensity. CONSTITUTION: A figure calculation unit(140) calculates a standard deviation of a pixel depth value from selected depth images. The figure calculation unit calculates an IR intensity average value by pixels by using IR intensity images. A model generating unit(150) generates a noise prediction model related to the depth image by using the calculated standard deviation and the IR intensity average value.
