PURPOSE: A system for providing a multilingual tour guide service and a method thereof are provided to supply an advertisement broadcast to a terminal and connect a call with a phone number preregistered by the terminal after the termination of the advertisement broadcast. CONSTITUTION: A database(160) stores tour guide content related to locations according to each language. A multilingual tourist guide server(110) identifies the locations and the languages in regard to a terminal. The multilingual tourist guide server extracts the tour guide content from the database by using the identified locations and languages. The multilingual tourist guide server provides the extracted tour guide content to the terminal.
