PURPOSE: An authentication/transaction system with an NFC(near field communication) tag and an operating method thereof are provided to supply a genuine product authentication service and a safe and efficient transaction service by using the NFC tag. CONSTITUTION: A request receiver(120) receives an authentication request for a product which has an NFC tag. The request receiver receives a request for registering and updating an authentication authority for the product. An authentication processor(130) determines whether the authentication authority is registered in regard to a user providing the authentication request. A registration/update processor(140) updates the authentication authority.
