<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing water-based ink for writing utensils, having good stability with time, hardly causing change in ink viscosity after passing a long period, hardly causing blur, and having viscosity regulated by a macromolecular compound. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the ink comprises previously regulating the pH of the macromolecular compound composed of (a) an acrylic acid monomer unit and (b) an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer unit regulated so that the constituent proportions of the components (a) and (b) may be 40-98 wt.% and 2-60 wt.% respectively, so as to be≥4 and≤11, and mixing a pigment or a dye therewith. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
