PURPOSE: An exchange method of a valve for an intake tower is provided to improve workability and stability by stabilizing the exchange work of valve components. CONSTITUTION: An exchange method of a valve for an intake tower is as follows. First and second winches(20,20a) are installed in an intake tower(100). A cage(22) is installed on the bottom end of the first winch. A barge(30) floats on the water nearby the intake tower. The front portions of intake pipes(12) are cut, and the cut front portions are loaded on the barge to be transferred to land. The cut planes of the intake pipes are grinded. Valve components(31) required for exchanging a valve are loaded on the barge, and the barge moves to the intake tower. Fitting connection pipes(18) are inserted into the intake pipes. The fitting positions of the fitting connection pipes are adjusted. The fitting connection pipes are welded to the intake pipes. Valves are installed in the fitting connection pipes, and components are installed therein. The cage and the first and second winches are removed from the intake tower. |
