PURPOSE: A taping head for a box packing machine is provided to increase work efficiency by preventing the separation of boxes from a packing machine when taping narrow boxes. CONSTITUTION: A taping head for a box packing machine(10) comprises frames(20), a tape roll(30), a rotary arm(40), a saddle(50), a guide roller(60), and a brush(70). The frames are separately installed to form an internal space(22) and face each other. The tape roll is installed in the frames and a tape is wound thereon. The rotary arm is rotatably installed in the internal space of the frames. One side of the saddle is rotatably mounted on the rotary arm and a cutter for cutting the tape is arranged in the other side thereof. The guide roller is installed in the frame and guides the tape supplied from the tape roll to the rotary arm. The brush is installed in the rear of the rotary arm to align the tape attached on boxes.
