PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for controlling the operating of an elevator are provided to precisely detect dissonance floors and vibration for each floor by measuring vibration values for each floor of the building. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of vibration sensors(111) measure vibration values generated from each installation place. An operation control unit(112) determines the level of vibration in a building.
