PURPOSE: A hot water tank for a water dispenser is provided to prevent a splash of water and delay in the discharge of hot water stored in the hot water over a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: A hot water tank for a water dispenser comprises a storage body(100) and a discharge unit(200). The storage body comprises a water inlet(110) and a water outlet(120). The discharge unit is installed at the water outlet of the storage body. The discharge unit comprises a discharge pipe(210), a cock valve, and an air discharge port(230). The air discharge port is formed across the discharge pipe. The inner diameter of the air discharge port is smaller the inner diameter of the discharge pipe. The water inlet and outlet are formed on the bottom and periphery of the storage body, respectively. A barrier plate(140) with a distance from the water inlet is installed inside the storage body.
