PURPOSE: A cap for closing a cooling pipe of an injection mold is provided with a simplified structure, and to be tightly installed in the inner periphery of a pipe. CONSTITUTION: A cap for closing a cooling pipe of an injection mold comprises a bolt combining portion(10), first and second O-rings(20,40), a spacer(30), a stainless flat-headed bolt(50), a bolt seat(60), and a stainless swelling ring(70). The first O-ring is fitted into the outer periphery of a circular boss through a first through hole. The spacer has the through hole at the center, and is placed at the upper part of the first O-ring. The second O-ring has a second through hole, and is placed on the spacer. The stainless flat-headed bolt is thread-combined with a female threaded portion formed in the circular boss. The stainless flat-headed bolt is fitted into the bolt through-hole of the bolt seat. The stainless swelling ring is placed between the bolt seat and the second O-ring. The stainless swelling ring comprises a tapered surface(72), a cut slit, and a knurling portion. The diameter of a center through-hole is gradually reduced to the lower part, and the tapered surface is formed. The stainless flat-headed bolt is screwed to the bolt combining portion, and expanded towards the inner surface(80a) of a pipe(80). The knurling portion is dug into the inner surface of the pipe.
