FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, flax strip processing technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: flax strip turning-doubling apparatus has main frame and rotary frame pivotally connected with main frame, and is further provided with pickup drum, driving and driven pulleys and belt of cross-wise conveyor, said belt running around pulleys and drum. Pulleys and conveyor are mounted on said frames. Guiding rods are positioned above conveyor to define helical channel for turning and transporting of stalk strips. Turning-doubling apparatus has at least two rollers positioned on main frame so that conveyor belt runs around said rollers on vertical portion of helical channel. Longitudinal axes of rollers are extending in parallel with respect to one another and to belt surface on vertical portion of helical channel. Frame pivot joint is positioned under rollers. Each guiding rod consists of two halves which overlap one another at vertical portion of helical channel. Discharge end of at least one of said rods is positioned on rotary frame so that it may be rotated in vertical plane. ^ EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. ^ 2 dwg |
