PURPOSE: A method for sharing storage space of terminals and a device for the same are provided to easily expand the storage capacity by allowing the terminals to share a part of or the entire storage space. CONSTITUTION: A storage part(710) sets up a self-sharing space capable of being used by a member terminal. A communication part(730) communicates with the member terminal through a communication network. If the storage of shared data is requested, a data dividing part(752) divides the shared data to store the shared data dividedly in the sharing space set up in the self-sharing space and the member terminal. If a fetch command for a shared file is entered, a divided data obtaining part(756) obtains divided data corresponding to the shared file from the member terminals.
