PURPOSE: An apparatus for evaluating complex fatigue properties is provided to simultaneously evaluate thermal and mechanical fatigue properties by applying thermal and mechanical stresses to a plate-shaped specimen at the same time. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for evaluating complex fatigue properties comprises a plate-shaped specimen(100), a DC power supply(200), a deformation mechanism(300), and a controller(400). The plate-shaped specimen comprises a top plate(110) and a bottom plate(120) which are parallelly arranged, and a junction part(130) where the top and bottom plates are connected by folding or welding. The DC power supply is connected to the top and bottom plates of the plate-shaped specimen and applies thermal stress to the plate-shaped specimen. The deformation mechanism applies mechanical stress to the plate-shaped specimen. The controller controls the operations of the deformation mechanism and the DC power supply. |
