PURPOSE: An air chamber with a detachable barrier part is provided to enable economical sailing corresponding to sailing speed or external environment by selectively changing the existence of an air chamber according to the kind of ships, the height restriction of the ships that each local requires, and the request of ship owners. CONSTITUTION: An air chamber with a detachable barrier part comprises mounting members(10,11) and a barrier part(20). The mounting members are coupled along the circumference of a flat surface at the bottom of a ship. The top end of the barrier part is coupled to the mounting members by detachable units(13). The barrier part comprises a vertical portion(21) and an inclined supporting portion(22). The vertical portion forms a downwardly opened air chamber in the flat surface at the bottom of the ship. The inclined supporting portion is upwardly extended from the bottom of the vertical portion toward the mounting member. |
