PURPOSE: A stylus pen and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent unwanted contents from running by minimizing recognition errors capable of being generated in selecting various icons on a touch panel. CONSTITUTION: A pointer(200) touches, and is connected to, one end of a stick type pen body(100), then is combined with the pen body by being conjoined with both supporting sides of the stick type pen body. A pen tip(300) is combined with one side of the pointer, and fixed by both supporting sides of the stick type pen body. A protection cap(400) covers the upper part of a convex surface of the pen tip, and protects the upper part of the convex surface. The protection cap is made of PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate) film, CNT(Carbon Nano Tube) fiber material, UV(Ultraviolet) coating material, Urethane coating material, or a mixture of those materials.
