摘要 PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing and estimating failure of a photovoltaic power generating module is provided to notice information related to failure potential in advance by utilizing present and past information produced by the photovoltaic power generating module. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing and estimating failure of a photovoltaic power generating module comprises the following steps: A data measurement part measures the temperature and the quantity of solar radiation of a system environment, a short circuit current of a solar cell, and data including an opening voltage and an output. A data processor receiving data from the data input part filters unnecessary noise data (S20). The data is upgraded and stored in database for every certain unit of a period (S30). The data input part sets a reference value to call the reference data, and a failure diagnosing module diagnoses a failure through the situation threshold pre-typed by a user (S40). A failure predicting module predicts the failure of K+1 according to K of the current measuring stage by using a Kalman filter (S50).
