PURPOSE: An inverter control device and method are provided to improve operating efficiency by selectively driving one or more inverter modules among a plurality of inverter modules and to improve stability of a system. CONSTITUTION: A power conversion unit changes a DC power source into an AC power source and supplies the AC power source. A plurality of inverter modules(110) outputs a current to load according to a control signal. A control unit(200) selectively outputs the control signal in the power conversion unit and selectively drives the plurality of inverter modules. The control unit controls total out current capacity of the power conversion unit. A current detecting unit(300) is connected to the plurality of inverter modules and detects an output current which is outputted from the plurality of inverter modules to the load. |
