PURPOSE: A USB security device and a security method thereof are provided to encode/store data and decode/output the encoded data, thereby protecting the data completely from hacking. CONSTITUTION: A smart card unit(130) encodes/outputs received data or decodes/outputs the received data. A memory unit(120) receives/stores/outputs data which are encoded in the smart card. A device controller(110) receives data which are inputted from an external device and transmits the data to the smart card. The device controller transmits/stores the encoded data to/in the memory. The device controller receives/transmits encoded data to the smart card, decodes the encoded data, and transmits the decoded data to the external device. |
