PURPOSE: A hydraulic chuck assembly is provided to prevent an oil leakage by firmly contacting each ball to each valve sheet without a gap. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic chuck assembly moves a taper socket(130) along a spindle shaft by moving an annular piston(100). First and second valve units(90,95) of the hydraulic chuck assembly control a flow of pressurized fluid into a cylindrical chamber(831). Each valve unit comprises a ball moving along a valve axis(X) formed in a radial direction for the spindle axis. The balls are pressed to be closely in contact with valve sheets in high speed rotation. A collect head(150) and a workpiece are firmly connected so that an oil leakage is prevented.
