The walking aid comprises a supporting column 3 standing on a base frame 2, an adjustable supporting column 4 extensibly provided on the supporting column 3, and the seat back 5 provided on a top part of the adjustable supporting column 4 to support the upper body of the user. The seat back 5 includes a concave part 8 provided on a center part thereof, a stable gripping member 9 protruding towarda front side of the concave part 8, and an arm rest 10 provided on upper parts of both sides of the concave part 8, which are integrally composed of synthetic resin by blow molding. The stable gripping member 9 is provided with a grip part G, G symmetrically protruding so as to be angular at a part closer to their home at the center part 5a. The arm rest 10 is provided with a slippage prevention part 11 whose outer edge is mounted so as to be higher than the upper surface closer to the concave part 8. To provide a walking aid with a lighter seat back to support an upper body of a user and a detachable upper cushion member thereof, which offers stability and improvement in its maintenance. |
