PURPOSE: An exhaust after-treatment apparatus for vehicles is provided with a reduced manufacturing cost and size as a wide space for installing a plurality of catalysts is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust after-treatment apparatus for vehicles comprises a housing(10), a diesel oxidation catalyst unit(50), a diesel particulate filter(60), and a selective catalytic reduction unit(80). The diesel oxidation catalyst unit is formed inside the housing, and oxidizes hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide. The diesel oxidation catalyst unit oxidizes nitrogen monoxide into nitrogen dioxide. The diesel particulate filter is formed at the rear side of the diesel oxidation catalyst unit, and collects the particulates contained in exhaust gas. The selective catalytic reduction unit is formed at the rear side of the diesel particulate filter in the housing, and reduces nitrogen oxide into nitrogen and oxygen.
